Now with video!

I'm going to use all of you.

Yeah, I bet you like that, dontcha?

Don't-cha wish your blog was fucked like me, dontcha… dontcha dontcha dontcha…

Say the word "dontcha" enough times and you feel like you're selling or making an advertisement for a brand of dentures.

In fact, with The Pussycat Dolls being little more than cannon fodder for the music industry — albeit cannon fodder I wouldn't mind fucking — I can probably see some of them in their sixties or seventies trying to get all the hip-young-oldsters from my generation going "Dontcha wish your dentures could stick like mine? Dontcha?! Dontcha, dontcha DENTURES!"

Yeah, baby.

In any case, I'm still using ya'll as guinea pigs for my videos.

Now, the ones in this blog aren't "Two Bricks"… while I doubt I'm going to get into Tropfest, I still haven't completely given up hope. Come January 24 or 25 and I'm not in, ya'll should be able to get to see it, provided I don't beat the crap out of the Flash file enough so it looks like a group of pixels have come along and gang-raped the video.

Anyway, I'm going to show you a couple of tests I've done.

The first one is an idea I had for a teaser I had for "Two Bricks" which had a hand-drawn styled brick from the film spinning through a Doctor Who vortex only to get ripped out and fall onto someone's windshield. I still might just finish it off, but this took around 1-2 hours to do and was a nice test to prove I could do it. The vortex has been made by me as has the spinning brick and since I don't know a whole lot about actual compositing, I used Chromakey to layer the brick over the vortex and faded it as it neared the end its path to make it seem blended.

Just imagine some of that Doctor Who music…

And this next animation is a test from tonight for the "Say What" video clip.

I'm animating a cockroach to run away from a cat and the video camera will be running through a home as the cat, basically. So, I've only animated a couple of seconds worth of animation here so I've slowed it down for you so you can see a better idea of how it's being animated.

I might be having a few problems or bugs with this video. If I am, leave me a comment so I can work out how to get it all working.

Other than that, the news from me is that I need a girlfriend, a job, and some well-fucking-deserved good karma.

But you knew all of that already, so go back to whatever it is you normally do.
