One of the coolest things a tech reviewer like myself gets to do is… play with video games before they come out.
This has some unfortunate side effects:
- I tend to look like I have less of a life than the original "less of a life" life I had in the first place
- I have to play some truly crappy games from time to time
- My voice gets raised several decibels at different pitches because of how frustrating some of those games are
The cool side effects though include the following:
- I get to have some inkling of a life back (and theoretically could go out more often and not dedicate more of life to the gaming beast)
- I get to play some really great games
- …and I get to make an ass of myself when a camera is aimed at me while I talk about a really cool game!
