And what does your little goochy woochy render monkey have for you this fine five-thirty-nine-am when he should probably be all snuggle uggle uggled up in his purple little bed?

Well, he has a ridiculously irritating speech impediment that makes him go all gooey toned like I did just then and it only happens when I have no idea how to start a blog.

So there.

Anyway, here are some renders from the render monkey who’s going to bed in about five minutes (that’s me, by the way).

[i]This is a test shot of a cockroach for the Khartoum Capers clip I’m making for the song “Say What”. The plan is to make some cockroaches sing and dance in computer animation and Chromakey them against a real life backdrop of a fridge. They’ll be singing, dancing, playing guitar, trumpet, yadda yadda quack quack lesbian. All that jazz.[/i]

[i]And this is a test shot for the clip I’m making for Khartoum Capers’ song “Transit Lounge”. It’s being done in 3d because, while I’d originally started this clip a few months ago in Flash animation using hand-drawn characters, I’m finding 3d gives me more control for the effect and camera work of this clip (although it does eat up considerably more memory than Flash).[/i]
