Shed a tear at the passing for one of the world's greatest comedians tonight, folks.
George Carlin has passed away from heart failure at the age of 71.

You can read all about it at the link above and it only got reported on almost an hour ago but… damn. This has me really bummed.
I loved Carlin's stuff and can remember growing up with TV as one of my closest friends (says a lot about me, huh). Carlin would be on in the background. He might be doing stand-up on HBO or be one of the actual funny ones in a Bill & Ted movie, but I'd always remember the face.
I'm extra sad tonight because I was watching the movie "FUCK" on the way home on my iPhone tonight and he's in that. I've now seen Carlin do some of the most brilliant work he ever had done – the introduction of what I see as a proper language that I adore using – and yet now he's gone.
So sad. So fucking sad.
